Our mission
The Wandering Hours gin was created to explore how we could produce spirits that could go deeper than flavour alone; could we influence experience?
We’ve taken our knowledge of botanicals and aromatic compounds to create flavours and spirits that capture “moments”.
To shift the conversation from how a spirit tastes to how it makes you feel – and the moments they belong to.

A Remarkable Place
to call home
Colinton has been inhabited for over a thousand years. Nestled between the Pentland Hills and the tranquil sanctuary of the dells, it shelters the winding waterways of Edinburgh South-West.
On every corner, Colinton hides a clue to its rich history: an Iron Age hillfort close by and royal origins in 1095, to ruined castles burned by Oliver Cromwell and tales of swinging poets. Today, unearthed millstones and the Colinton Tunnel Mural welcome visitors to one of Edinburgh’s most remarkable places.
Colinton is a village worth celebrating and sharing.
Our name is inspired by the Foulis Sundial – carved in 1630 -which sits at the very heart of the village. To us, it connects the history of this place and inspires how wisely we use our time today, while ensuring our home is preserved for tomorrow.
